Farmers Section, Nearly finished.

With the Xmas break and all I thought that I would take some time to try and finish the last section and standard bearers for the Humberstone Militia. Well I am about half way through, which is a kind of a record for me and the others are half painted, so I am please with myself. Here's a few photos of them.

Flags of the Humberstone Militia

Taking a bit of time off from painting the farmer section, the brigands sets from Musketeer, of the HM, I have decided to finish off the flags for the HM. I think they have worked out pretty well and here they are.

Back to painting the farm workers section, pictures of them coming up soon.

Are things becoming clearer?

I think this one will give it away to what it is.

Sir Maurice Levy, 1st Baronet, MP for Loughbough, Lord Lieutenant of Leicester

I have finished Sir Maurice Levy, 1st Baronet, MP for Loughbough, Lord Lieutenant of Leicester, banker and owner of Humberstone Hall and thus commander of the Humberstone Militia and have included it here for you to look at. It is a lovely figure sculpted by Paul Hicks and a good cause to help a fellow human with helping with the cost of the funeral. I hope Drew like this and I wish him all the best.

You can get this lovely fellow here.

Looks out for a new seasonal Project

In the next few days there should be a new seasonal project coming. Based on VBCW it should be good, okay it should be fun. Gosh I hope so now ;)

Its finished, John Bright's Regiment of Foote Musketeer

I've finished the painting of John Bright's Regiment of Foote Musketeer with doglock musketeer. I have to say it was really nice to paint something very historial for once and I have to admit I think I have done a pretty good job on it. Here is the finished painting.

Today I have done so more of the painting, finished the jacket, trousers and socking. Next id the facings, the monmuth cap and the equipment and gun. Might even have the fellow finished within the next few days.  Silly thing is while painting this I got to thinking I wonder if anyone has based a VBCW unit on a ECW unit? Here's the latest picture of the soldier.
