New Project Heath Robinson

I saw this wee little tank on GWP3 forum and sort of fell in love with it. This a Renaultque RT 17 tank that is a limited run and a steal for £15.00. It is for a chap going by the name of Akula for his weird, ork, dwarves Great War range and I think it suits VBCW as a Home Made Heath Robinson affair of a tank.I still got a bit to do to it but I am rather happy of the camo pattern which is sort of based of the French Great War pattern.

  1. Nice one, PK!

I reckon those disruption patterns of the early 20th C were artistic features in themselves. You can see influences of modernist abstract art in them, I reckon! ;-)

  5. That is a great job Pete on such a wonderful 'little' tank. Might be tempted by one of those myself.

  6. It is a lovely little tank and a dream to paint. I love the weird and wonderful camo patterns of the Great War and the Interwar period, just so wacky but at the same they sort of work.
