New Illustration for Scottish Book

Here is the latest illustration for the Scottish book from Solway. I am now doing a plate for the Royalist forces in Scotland and first off is a Officer in a Scottish regiment. I have gone for that very "British" gentleman and officer look with pipe and service dress uniform but I have given the chap tartan trews. I am going to use Royal Stewart tartan for the beeches and a greenish khaki jacket. Hopefully it should look quite striking and work well.
