PetalKaput and Partizan

Yes as some of you might have noticed I have a new name, if fact a new name given to me Paul Hicks and Mrs PK today, so welcome to PetalKaput's Painted Review. The reason for the new name is because I went into hospital yesterday and before I knew about it I had gone into hospital for a sex change and a boob job and it was a great success. So fitting the new position in society a new name was coined so Thanks there Mrs PK and Paul for that.

Well with Partizan coming up on us fast, 7th September in fact and not in a tent, I have been busy getting ready for the VBCW game and this time it involved a farm, car and a revenge plot. So I have been busy building a farm which is from Petite Properties as well as a stable building as well. it is a rather large building, being 1/48th scale it fits in with 28mils lovely.

I have spent most of today putting the roofing tiles on this building, the tiles from from WarBases, who else would I use and nest comes the texturing of the walls of the farm, which I cannot decide to have as a render or brickwork, we will see, depends on when my sculpting tools come.

If the farm house and stables was not enough I have also decided that I require a Windmill too. This windmill comes from WarBases again and is tampered to the top, which does not show in the pictures and is very nice, the blades/sails go around too. At the back of the windmill is a small hut which does not come with the kit and in fact it is from WarBases too and is from there Modular building range, thanks Loki for pointing them out. I think this just adds to the mill making it a little larger and a storage room.

Well thats all from me today, I am off work for the rest of the week so I hope that these will progress a little further and also look out on Friday as something new and BIG is coming your way.

PK

  2. Given your flowery prose, change of theme and hints dropped can we now assume "VBCW" stands for "Veritable Bouquet of Crafty Witticisms"?

Get well soon PK and be careful mate. In your state you shouldn't be lifting anything BIG. :-)

  5. Also Glad you are on the mend. I was imagining that "petal" might be a name that the nurses gave you in a "How are you today petal?" Type way. But if it's your choice "Petal Kaput" is what I will call you.

The farm house does look particularly good very nicely proportioned.

    1. Simon check out their website if you haven't already and you will see what I mean. They are dolls houses but also wonderful wargames buildings too. I have some pigs and a donkey does that count?
